Renters 60+: Paying 30%+ income for housing (Census 2000)

Definition: Percentage of renters aged 60 and over paying 30% or more household income for gross rent

Notes: Data exclude renters of single-family houses on 10 acres or more. Housing cost is defined as gross rent which is the contract rent plus the estimated average monthly cost of utilities and fuels. The calculation excludes the households which paid no cash rent, or reported zero or negative income.
