Homeowners 60+: Paying 30%+ income for housing (Census 2000)

Definition: Percentage of homeowners aged 60 and over paying 30% or more household income for housing

Notes: Data include only single-family houses on less than 10 acres without a business or medical office on the property. Housing costs include the sum of payments for mortgages, or similar debts on the property; real estate taxes; insurance on the property; utilities; and fuels. The calculation excludes the households which reported zero or negative income.
